A member asked:

Is there something they will give me for anxiety when i'm doing the chemical peel?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anxiety pre peel: This depends on the extent of the peel. If a relatively minor area is treated them it may be one under no or local anesthesia without any other sedation. If you request or if requested, this may require general and/or IV sedation in which case you will probably be given anxiolytics via your IV immediately prior to the procedure. You should have a designated driver and someone to assist you post.
