Diet & swallowing: Most gas is either made in the gut from the food you eat (ie, beans), or it is swallowed in the food you eat (ie, carbonated beverages, airy foods like popcorn or rice cakes). Try to limit these foods. If you are anxious, you may just be swallowing more than most, & in doing so, unintentionally swallow more air thus causing more gas to be put in your gut that you have to deal w/ from above/below.
