See your surgeon: Some nerve pains can occur after hernia surgery & nerves to the testucle area can develop discomfort late after surgery. Generally the discomfort resolves. See your surgeon for an evaluation.

Ilioinguinal pain: As was said already this type of pain is seen after surgery at times. See the surgeon and get a referral to a pain specialist for an ilioinguinal block.
