Unknown comparison: Raloxifene is a medication that has effects similar to estrogen on the bone. Strontium ranelate is an organic form of the element strontium. It has effects on bone that are different than raloxifene. It is not approved for use in the us but is available in europe. There are no comparative studies between the two drugs. Both have different potential side effects. You need to talk to your doc.
