Bleeding: The commonest symptoms is bleeding- either microscopic or visible. This can be picked up on a urine analysis. Other symptoms include difficulty passing urine, pain, frequent urination and non-specific symptoms such as weight loss, fatigue.

Blood in urine: Any blood in the urine either microscopic or visible needs a urologic evaluation to rule out problems like bladder cancer, especially if you are a long term smoker....Smoking biggest risk factor for bladder cancer !
