Possibly.: Trinessa (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) effects progestrone & estrogen in your body. If you don't have enough progestrone than you have lack of period (amenorrhea), hypermenorrhea & breakthrough bleeding. If you don't have enough estrogen you could have spotting, hypomenorrhea or breakthrough bleeding.
