What to do if i was wondering how do you know when your period starts?

First period: Menarche usually occurs between ages 11 & 13 in the us. Before the first period a girl may feel bloated, develop cramps in legs or abdomen & feel moody (depressed or anxious). Bleeding is when you can really know that your period has begun.
