Is there something they will give me for anxiety before my pelvic laparoscopy?

Care post nerve rx: In all likelihood this may require general and/or IV sedation in which case you will probably be given anxiolytics via your IV immediately prior to the procedure. You should have a designated driver and someone to assist you post op.

Anxiety: Definitely ! your surgeon can decrease your anxiety by prescribing an anxiolytic such as Valium or klonopin (clonazepam). Also, the anesthesiology can provide some iv. Medication before going to the o.R. A relaxed patient generally recovers better than a stressed one.

Sure: There is no reason to have to suffer through great anxiety prior to surgery. It is common that anesthesiologists will give you a benzodiazepine (valium or similar) to relax you if you are excessively anxious prior to surgery.
