A member asked:

Does the leaky gut theory hold any substance? does it have any relation to psoriasis?

Not mainstream: In bona-fide gut disease, there is clearly a breakdown of the barrier. There is a school of "unconventional medical thought" that a similar breakdown with normal-appearing gut causes otherwise-unexplained illnesses -- differing greatly from person to person. If this were the key to psoriasis, oral sucrose-load testing would support it. Still waiting for some hard science. Could be part of puzzle.

Good question: After 15 years of observation. Yes, I believe Leaky Gut exists. It is a disorder primarily caused by disruption between the tight junctions of your small intestine. Cause is likely from various environmental exposures. Good video explaining it on my website www.thedocstu.com. colostrumtherapy.com/specialist-ce
