Can frequent hunger and "sleepy" feeling indicate upcoming rapid growth/spurt?

Growth spurt: Probably. Adolescents will eat a lot and sleep a lot when undergoing a growth spurt. However, depression can do the same, so as long as your adolescent is happy and able to function well, i would do allow him or her to sleep and eat. Otherwise seek medical or mental health help..
