Is it true that it's really possible to beat bulimia?

Bulimia treatment: It is possible to beat bulimia but it requires a medical and psychological approach. Often, there are complicated relationships that contribute to the condition and so good therapy with a qualified mental health professional who knows how to treat this condition is essential. Good medical care and nutritional counseling with a practitioner who specializes in this area are also necessary.

Yes!!: Bulimia is way of resolving internal conflicts. People may think they're doing it to lose weight, but bulimia numbs and/or distract from discomfort. To stop, you must seek treatment to identify what's eating "at" you instead of focusing on what you're eating, and find new ways to respond to yourself. As with all eating disorders, you can definitely recover & have a healthy relationship to food
