Over 100.4: Fever is considered to be a temperature over 100.4 degrees f, taken either in the mouth, ear, underarm or rectal. Temporal temperatures are generally a little more unreliable unless you have a very good scanner like hospitals and clinics use and you have the right technique to check a temporal temperature.
