Does alcohol use weaken the immune system? I am not talking about being an alcoholic but rather a casual drinker or even one drink per day.
I drink alcohol every day, usually around half a bottle of wine, sometimes more (at weekends). Have done this for around 8 years. I have decided to quit. How long will it take my immune system to recover from the damage done? Will it recover?
