A member asked:

I have been off of the pill for about a month an a half now, but i still haven't got pregnant, could the pill still be in my system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: As soon as you stop taking the birth control pill, it no longer has contraceptive effects. The pill has no effect on future fertility. 80-90% of couples having regular intercourse (2 or more times per week) will become pregnant within one year. If after a year you have not conceived, you should seek the help of a fertility specialist. Good luck!
