A member asked:

Can cancer show up in a blood test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rarely: Unless it a blood cancer(leukemia) it is not likely to show up in the blood. Some of the chemicals produced by cancder (tumor markers) can show up in the blood test and thus can be an indicator for an internal cancer.
