A member asked:

What's going on, in the past 2 months i've had vaginal ecoli infection, and keep getting yeast infections as soon as it goes away. no std or pregnant.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Source: Recurrent vaginal infections with ecoli suggest a possible seeding from wiping back to front although usually causes ecoli uti, it may be a source. It also could indicate a possible connection of the rectum or colon with the vaginal wall. Yeast would be a side effect of the antibiotics. Either way recurrent ecoli infections of the vagina are not the norm . Have your physicain re evaluate.
