Depends: Usually this relates to a chemical imbalance after moderate amounts of alcohol are consumed. Joints are commonly incolved in this process, and most often noticed in the lower extremity. If no injury occurred and anti-inflammatory meds (motrin, aleve) help, then it seems likely this is the problem. If it persists, its worth getting looked at to ensure it isn't a more serious problem (gout, djd, etc).
