According to throat endoscopy results doctor says valve in stomach is loose. what problems can it cause?

Gastro-esophageal: Reflux or heartburn. Sometimes h2 blockers such as prilosec, prevacid, Protonix (pantoprazole) or one of the newer drugs can relieve symptoms, but chronic untreated reflux can lead to esophageal cancer. Best to get your endoscopy doctor to discuss in detail and make recommendations.
