A member asked:

Can you let me know how many diseases are caused by smoking?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

More than you could: More than a dozen at least. Let me give you a list: bronchitis, emphysema, cancers of the lung, mouth, throat, esophagus and pancreas, heart attacks, stroke and peripheral vascular disease leading to poor circulation and gangrene/amputations. To that you can add osteoporosis if you are a woman.
