What the age range is for risk of reye's syndrome?

4-12: In it's peak years in the 70's the average age was about 6 yrs and range 4-12. Since the understanding that Aspirin products were linked to the process, the disease has declined in frequency. Most don't recommend using Aspirin products until after the age of 16 to this day for that reason.
