What is expected if you are infected with rubella?

Mild illness: Rubella causes a mild illness, low grade fever, a faint rash and often swollen lymph nodes at the back of the head. General malaise for 3-4 days. Not a problem unless you are in the 1st 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid contact with any pregnant women, or any woman who may be getting pregnant soon.
