Elevate several fold: You are asking about the risk of blood clot in patients with cancer. The risk is increased several fold over normal people. Cancer cells themselves are making substances that help them move through the blood stream then stop and make more cancer cells. This favors clot. Patients with cancer also tend to have less activity as the cancer advances which also favors clot.
