With dry socket, is it normal to have really severe headache? how long can the symptoms be expected to last?

Dry Socket Pain.: Dry sockets can be very painful, lasting a few weeks. Severe headaches can happen as well. You should contact the doctor that did the extractions and hopefully have the areas packed to get some relief, otherwise you will be trying to kill the pain with pain meds that are likely not to help too much. Once healed, you should be fine, but it can take some time.
