Get diagnosed first: This is a common feeling that patients describe when hands go numb. If you havenot already seen your pcp or neurologist then see them soon to diagnose the reason for your hands going numb. The commonest problem is called carpal tunnel syndrome. Once diagnosis is confirmed you will get a referral to a hand specialist for probable surgical release of compression of the median nerve.
