See doctor: Could be an ear infection, fluid from a respiratory infection or a wax buildup.In addition you may have somehow damaged the auditory nerve. See you doctor for an examination and diagnosis.

Most likely cause: Is what is called cerumen impaction which accumulation of ear wax. You will need your internist take a look inside to determine. At that time they can also look for other causes such as infection etc. Good luck.
