There are many reasons you may have a headache and most are not serious, however your provider can help decide it additional evaluation or intervention may be necessary. Get checked: If you have had a headache for 3 days without relief, i would go and get checked out. You would need medicine to stop the current headache. But they can also take a proper history and direct further care. You might need to be started on a daily preventative medicine to help prevent such acute attacks. There are also certain conditions that need to be ruled out. Good luck.
