Call doc or go to ER: Whenever headache is worse than normal, or lasts longer than similar headaches, or happens more often, then a person must get seen right away. See take her to an ER. Or you may call her neurologist and discuss this first, if he/she is available. New types of headaches can have very serious causes, and evaluation will determine if something must be done STAT to prevent harm.
