Stomach sounds: The sounds u hear r most likely those of food moving from the stomach thru the pyloric valve into the small intestine & then thru the intestines. Stomach may "growl" when u r hungry. High-pitched sounds accompanied by pain may suggest narrowing in the intestine or a partial obstruction.
