Start w/family doc: Go see your family doc first. Poor balance may be due to simple inner ear infection. Benign positional vertigo can be easily diagnosed & treated by your family doc who's familiar w/dix hallpike and epley maneuvers. Your family doc can also check to be sure poor balance isn't a manifestation of some other condition, eg heart rhythm condition, sugar control, blood pressure, stroke, medication, etc.
