Need to be seen: Assuming she is not pregnant (and a home pregnancy test is inexpensive and accurate), a physical exam and possibly an ultrasound should help with the diagnosis. Cancer is unusual but not impossible in a 16 y/o, but non cancer cysts in the ovaries and many other disorders can give similar symptoms.
