A member asked:

I've been on contraceptive pills, coils and implants to help my endometriosis for 3 years and nothing helps not even cauterization what can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depo lupron (leuprolide): I usually suggest the use of Lupron (leuprolide) after i peform surgical cautery for endometriosis. While surgery is effective in cauterizing the visible endometriosis, there are still lesions present that are just not visible yet. Lupron (leuprolide) will help with reduction of the non visible lesions. Even though we tend to avoid Lupron (leuprolide) in teens, i would speak to your gynecologist about a trial of it.
