Possibly: Swimmers ear (otitis externa) requires antibiotic drops. If they don't have them on board patients can become quite miserable. It can even become life-threatening in diabetic patients. Also the condition requires water avoidance (none in the ear). Make sure you get seen before the vacation to avoid a miserable week!
