No interaction: The absorption of tetracycline can be affected if you take a vitamin or food or supplement containing minerals such as calcium within two hours of the tetracycline. Otherwise it is okay to take. Beta carotene in excess can cause carotenemia which causes an orangish yellow discoloration of the skin and nails. This is reversible by stopping the supplement if it happens.
