Deep breathing.: Sometimes this is called "sighing". It is a very common symptom of stress or anxiety....Or even depression.

Need personal visit: I'm not sure what's causing your need to take deep breaths, but seeing your doctor and letting him/her examine you could reveal some possibilities. It's possible this is a form of anxiety, which can certainly cause changes in breathing plus uncomfortable awareness of it as well. Before jumping to any conclusion though, it's best to work with your doctor to make sure your physical health is good.
