Possible allergy: It is unusual to see seasonal allergies at such a young age. Before trying over the counter allergy meds usually meant for older children see the pediatrician for a diagnosis. For stuffy noses it is usually safe to use saline nasal sprays to help clear tiny nasal passages.

Allergies uncommon: Infants depend on small nasal passages for breathing.Common irritants like dust, fragrance, smoke, paint fumes, cooking odors, etc.Can all cause congestion. Doing a lifestyle audit to remove the possible irritants from babies environment helps. Regular use of saline nasal wash can remove these irritants so baby can breathe easier.
