Compartment syndrome: For anterior compartment syndrome recent study out of west point shows that mid foot running can benefit. Recently presented at american college of sports medicine meeting.

Foam Roller: First try a foam roller over the anterior muscles. Forefoot running has been shown it can benefit long-distance runners, and there is some observational data that it works for short distance runners too. Bicycle: Exertional compartment syndrome is caused by increased pressure during exercise in the compartments of the lower leg induced by swelling/edema of the exercising muscles. If you can reduce the volume of the compartments, you can reduce the problem. Bicycling specifically targets the lower legs and slims them down. Put in 30-40 min. 4-5 days a week on a exercise bike...It works.
