Why do moles come on face?

Genes and Sun: Some moles appear to genetic factors due to family history. These appear usually in early childhood or in the first few decades of life. Sun also can increase the number of moles by altering dna in the melanocytes in the skin to start a new mole. Using sunscreen and wearing a hat and staying out of the sun can help minimize the size and number of moles a person gets.
