I am shedding a large amt. of mouth lining right now. how long does it take to regenerate?

Why?: The mouth can regenerate rather quickly but the real question is why? Most times in my office this is due in response to whitening toothpastes which causes sloughing of the cheeks which appears clear and stringy from pyro phosphates. It can also be due to trauma or spicy foods. If you aren't experiencing pain you shouldn't worry but i would advise finding out what causes it and avoiding use.
