Lotion: For mild atopic dermatitis (eczema), the mainstay is generous amounts of good creams/ointments. Such as, cetaphil, aquafor, eucerin. If not improving, then your dr. May prescribe, a topical steroid cream (triamcinalone), and may use it intermittently.

Moisture & ceramides: Atopic dermatitis is a sensitive skin condition that has multiple triggers. Eczema or atopic dermatitis seems to respond to the application of moisturizing creams containing ceramides. Also, fragranced soaps also seem to contribute to atopic flares. There are differing degrees of severity. Speak with your dermatologist about the best course of therapy for you. Until the appointment, try cerave'.
