Pheo and labs : In pheochomocytoma, typically the values range 3x the upper limit of normal. The episodes can be intermittent, so you cannot be totally reassured by normal values if you are clinically suspicious. A Clonidine suppression test may be helpful.

24 hour urine dopamine level is very high. The range is up to 500. My level was almost 700. What can cause this. All else normal (epinephrine, norepinephrine, metenephrine , etc) although plasma epinephrine was elevated 2 x range ? Urine normal?
Testing for AL amyloid. SPEP shows no M-spike but mildly elevated total protein & A/G ratio (2.7) due to high albumin. Globulins well within normal range. Worrisome? Serum/urine IFE &marrow biopsy ok, but elevated free K/L ratio due to low lambda.
My CKD-EPI is 70, every test came back normal (urea, serum creatinine, Na, uric acid, urine - no proteinuria, no glucose), no high blood pres, no stmptoms. My cardiologist said not to worry and came back in one year. Should I see a nephrologist?
