Depends: Depends on the type of implant. If you mean implanon, yes. Like most hormonal contraception it is 99% effective. There are always a small percent of women who will still conceive. Some pregnancies may be abnormal like an ectopic or tubal pregnancy for instance. See your md if there is a concern that you may be pregnant.
