In vitro methods can bypass the tubal by harvesting your eggs & implanting a fertilized embryo into your prepared womb. All such methods have problems & take time & expense, but offer you a chance. Discuss this with your OB or seek out a fertility consult.

Safe is relative: Bilateral micro tubal anastomoses is as safe as any other major surgery in competent hands. The success rate may be as high as 50 to 70%. In vitro fertilization rates are usually slightly lower. Pregnancy attempts are each month after surgery but only at the time of the procedure with in vitro fertilization.
