Dr. Pamela Pappas answered

Specializes in Psychiatry

If this is new chest pain, please get yourself to an emergency room for an exam. Heart disease can manifest differently in women than men. If your heart shows up to be healthy (and it may well be) then anxiety attacks can also cause similar symptoms. Your doctors will differentiate which causes apply to you. Help with anxiety is available through psychiatrists & psychologists. Be well.
