Yes: When people get anxious the 10 to breathe faster. Breathing quickly can blow off an excessive amount of carbon dioxide. This can lead to hyperventilation syndrome in which you develop lightheadedness. Calming down, breathing more slowly, and lying down will help. The large amounts of sugar will increase your metabolism and potentially your anxiety and should be avoided.
