Perhaps: Stuttering can be very resistant to treatment but I have used hypnosis in a few such cases over the years with some success. It is my opinion that in some stutterers hypnosis can be very effective. I am located in maryland but in baltimore.

Depends: Stuttering has many causes. Habit or behavioral stuttering, also known as childhood stuttering (that never went away) can certainly be helped with hypnosis. A careful evaluation to rule out other causes of stuttering is a first step. To find a skilled, trained therapist in your area go to www.asch.net and you can search by city and surrounding cities for somebody who is well trained.
