Toxic is hyperthyroi: Toxic thyroid means too much thyroid or hyperthyroid. This could come from an autoimmune condition called graves. Some think that autoimmune diseases come after exposure to viruses, with your body making antibodies to the virus. And the antibodies react against your own body too.
