Yes: There are not reported drug interactions between Ibuprofen (motrin) and paroxetine (paxil). If you have gastric problems, which could be exacerbated by the anti inflammatory drugs, you can experience more acidity, acid reflux or stomach ache, and even gastritis or gastric bleeding if taking high doses of nsaids (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen + Paxil (paroxetine): Please check with your physician before taking these 2 drugs together. Caution is advised because of the drug interaction of these medications due to the risk of hyponatremia (low serum sodium level). Sodium levels should be monitored if taking both drugs. Also, the combination may increase the risk of internal bleeding, as from ulcers if present.
