Cold urticaria.: Cold urticaria is one of the physical urticarias which produces redness, swelling and itching in cold exposed areas. Often diagnosed by placing an ice cube on the forearm or hand for a few minutes and observing the reaction which should leave a red swollen and itchy patch in the outline of the ice cube.
