No: You can take a hot bath. You don't want the water to be so hot that it will make you uncomfortable.

No: When you take a hot bath (or head for the hot tub) the blood vessels in your skin, arms and legs dilate. This can divert the blood from your heart to the skin to cool you. If enough blood diverts your baby won't get enough oxygen. However if you are careful to take warm baths, that is fine. If you start to feel dizzy or light-headed in the tub, get help to get out right away.

Yes: Warm baths are okay, but may increase the risk of a vaginal infection. Hot tubs are discouraged in the first trimester. Excessive body heat can cause birth defects.

Depends on temp: Heat from saunas, hot tubs, bath tubs, etc. Can raise the core body temperature of the expectant mother. Fetal problems can result from high temperatures. That is why many physicians warn pregnant women to be cautious.
