The TRP Gene Family: The trp gene family is a highly conserved mammalian cellular function: http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/books/nbk5237/. There are a number of chemicals and experimental substances that modulate the trp family; some of these are described here===> http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pmc/articles/pmc2645550/.

This is a really..: ...bad idea. Knowledge of these receptors' behavior in humans is lacking. Pharma is just starting to pilot investigational PUTATIVE TRPA1 antagonists. No one knows doses, least of all in "foods & herbs," where the amounts are tiny & which contain lots of other completely unregulated substances. This could be hazardous to your health but more likely will just be an exercise in futility.
